Heywood Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)

The Heywood BESS is an early-stage battery proposal located adjacent to the Heywood substation in southwest Victoria, approximately 5.5km from the town of Heywood and 340km west of Melbourne.

Macorna Wind Farm

The proposed Macorna Wind Farm is ~220 kilometres north of Melbourne in the Gannawarra and Loddon Shire area. There are a number of factors that make the land around Macorna an excellent location for wind farm development including strong wind speeds, proximity to the proposed VNI West Kerang Substation and good availability of flat, cleared, agricultural land.

Parron Wind Farm

Atmos Renewables has partnered with Parron Developments in 2024 to develop the Parron Wind Farm. The Parron Wind Farm is located north of the Badgingarra National Park, approximately 200km north of Perth in the north-eastern Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. The Parron Wind Farm will have up to 79 wind turbines capable of producing up to 489MW.

Teebar Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)

Teebar BESS is located adjacent to Powerlink’s Teebar Creek substation in central Queensland, ~60km west of the township of Maryborough. The BESS is anticipated to have a capacity of 400 MW / 1600 MWh and provide up to 4 hours of energy storage.
