The following poem by Judith Church of St Arnaud has been published by the Tamba magazine this month:

COONOOER BRIDGE WIND FARM
OPENED APRIL 15TH 2016

Six granite studded hills
topped with six stark white masts,
six turning turbines
gathering tales from winds
that swoop from south western
ancient sea beds
across
Wimmera wheat plains.
Triple blades spinning whispers
tossed from turbine to turbine,
phrase fragments feather together
into legends.
Winds rising to shout
their stories
into six story telling towers.
Eagles soar on story lines
reading writings in the wind.
