Wind Turbine at Cherry Tree

Cherry Tree Wind Farm

58 MW, Victoria

Atmos Renewables acquired 100% of the interests in Cherry Tree Wind Farm in 2021. The plant is located approximately 15km south east of Seymour, Victoria in the area originally inhabited by the Taungurung people and consists of 16 x 3.6MW turbines. Commercial operations were reached in July 2020. Cherry Tree Wind Farm is expected to generate 180GWh of electricity per annum.

Cherry Tree Wind Farm established a long-term Community Benefit Fund (CBF). This commitment will ensure that $25,000 is made available to the local community each year, for the first 25 years of the operation of the wind farm.
