Not only are we committed to investing in clean technology that offsets carbon emissions in the Australian electricity markets, we are also committed to doing so in a way that supports Australia’s vibrant local communities and protects and enhances its biodiversity.
Atmos Renewables generates energy from 100% clean renewable energy sources. Its generation powers approximately 500,000 households and offsets over 1,700,000 tonnes of carbon emissions that would otherwise be generated in the Australian energy system.

As part of its commitment to the local environment, Atmos is actively supporting the management of biodiversity across our projects by actively managing the land and habitats around our projects. At Cherry Tree Wind Farm 400 acres of land adjacent to the project is being returned to native habitat the management of woody and herbaceous weeds as well as non-native animals.
