Hornsdale Wind Farm Stage 2

Atmos Renewables acquired 20% of the interests in Hornsdale Wind Farm Stage 2 in March 2021. The plant is located approximately 8km north of Jamestown and consists of 32 x 3.2MW turbines. Commercial operations were reached in June 2017 and is connected to the 275kV Mt Lock substation via 33kV feeder cables. Hornsdale Wind Farm Stage 2 is expected to generate over 330GWh of electricity per annum.
Atmos Renewables supports Horsndale Wind Farm Stage 2’s long-term community benefit fund that ensures $40,000 is made available to the local community each year. Details of the process to apply for the community benefit fund can be found here. Details of past recipients can be found here.
